LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Animal Services needs your help as the shelter is over capacity.

The shelter said every kennel is full right now, and is calling for fosters, adopters, and local rescues to help house large dogs over 40 pounds.

All adoption fees are covered right now thanks to Friends of Metro Animal Services.

Every dog at the shelter is also spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

The Animal House Adoption Center is located at 3516 Newburg Road, and is open from noon to 6 p.m. most days and until 7 p.m. on Fridays.
