LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Bats unveiled the first new bobblehead for the 2025 baseball season.
The Triple-A affiliate for the Cincinnati Reds announced Denny Crum as its newest bobblehead Tuesday. Crum won two NCAA Championships while serving as the University of Louisville's men's basketball coach. He led Louisville to six Final Fours and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
"Today and every day, we celebrate the legend whose impact transcended the court," Louisville Bats posted on X. "Introducing our newest bobblehead for the 2025 season - Denny Crum! A true Louisville icon who will forever be in our hearts."
Crum, who coached 30 years at Louisville, died at the age of 86 in 2023 at his home.
Last year, the Bats offered a Muhammad Ali bobblehead to fans.
