LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A local boy figures out a clever way to trick Pokemon Go.

In order to hatch Pokemon eggs in the game, you have to walk. The game can sense if you're driving, so that won't count.

So eleven-year-old Danny Waller has been walking pretty much non-stop, but he wanted a way to keep playing even when he couldn't get outside. So, he attached his phone to a Kyle Busch lanyard and let it spin from the ceiling fan!

The hack successfully tricks the phone into adding steps, so Danny can keep playing even after it's dark outside.
