OUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Kosair for Kids held its 11th annual Pie Auction at the Olmstead on Sunday.

The event featured dozens of desserts created by Louisville chefs, with each pie going to the highest bidder.

The money raised will pay for medical care, equipment, and therapy for families in need. Some of the pies sold for more than $2,000.

"As we approach Thanksgiving, we are just blessed to be a part of so many moments in Louisville," said Barry Dunn, president of Kosair for Kids. "For 102 years now, people have been good to us so that we in turn can be good to the children of Louisville and surrounding counties."
