LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is dead after being shot Tuesday morning in Louisville's Portland neighborhood.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said officers received a ShotSpotter call around 1:20 a.m. in the 2900 block of Rowan Street. As officers were enroute, it was upgraded to a shooting.
A man was found outside suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers and EMS rendered First Aid to him, but he was pronounced dead on the scene.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but has no suspects and has made no arrests as detectives look into what led up to the shooting.
