LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A quick stop at a Louisville gas station left one lottery player $225,000 richer.
A winning Cash Ball 225 ticket for the Friday, Feb. 27, drawing was sold at 6102 Petroleum on Bardstown Road in Fern Creek, according to the Kentucky Lottery.
The winning numbers were 3, 9, 11 and 13, with Cash Ball 4. The ticket matched all four white balls and the Cash Ball to win the game’s $225,000 top prize.
Lottery officials advised the winner to sign the back of the ticket, keep it in a secure location and claim the prize within 180 days of the drawing.
Prizes must be claimed at lottery headquarters, 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville. Winners should call 877-789-4532 to schedule an appointment.
This marks the second $225,000 Cash Ball 225 prize claimed in 2026. The first followed the Jan. 31 drawing, when an anonymous player purchased a winning ticket at Powers Express in Hawesville.
