LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A world record holder threw out the first pitch Tuesday night at the Louisville Bats game.
Louisville native Patrick O'Bryan, who set the world record for the most pitches thrown in an eight-hour period with 2,806, threw out the first pitch.
O'Bryan still plays baseball in a league with some friends and said he has a rubber arm, which allows him to pitch at full strength without ever getting sore.
O'Bryan said he's right at home on the pitching mound when he threw the first pitch.
"It feels fantastic," O'Bryan said. "Anytime I'm on a pitcher's mound, I feel good. I feel at home. So, I was right at home. No problem. Piece of cake."
O'Bryan also said it was really tough to set that world record, but, if someone were to break it, he isn't ruling out taking another shot at it.
