LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville is the home of the greatest, with a tribute to boxing in the heart of downtown. But the Muhammad Ali Center has never actually hosted a boxing event.
That is until now. On Jan. 20, 2024. from 6-9 p.m., the Center will be the home of the Rudell Stitch Boxing Classic.
Stitch is a hometown hero in Louisville, a former sparing partner of Muhammad Ali, who once ranked among the top welterweights in the world back in the 1950s and 1960s.
Undefeated heavyweight contender Tim Moten will headline the fights at the Ali center next month.
