LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The murder trial for accused serial killer William Clyde Gibson of New Albany begins Monday morning.
Gibson is accused of killing 75-year old Christine Whitis, 53-year old Karen Hodella and 35 year old Stephanie Kirk.
This trial is for the murder of Whitis, whose remains were found in Gibson's home last year.
Attorneys interviewed several hundred people last month before selecting a jury.
Opening statements are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
The trial is expected to last for two weeks.
If convicted, Gibson faces the death penalty.
