LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new karate business is teaching a lot more than karate.
The ribbon was cut this morning on Pro Martial Arts in New Albany. It offers karate and character building classes for kids and adults. There's also a program to teach children bullying and predator prevention.
"A lot of people that could potentially harm our children, we want to teach stranger awareness in the situation," said Laurie Slusser, the owner of the business.
The business also offers kick boxing and other adult fitness classes.
