CLARKSVILLE, Ind. (WDRB) -- The Stonehouse Coffee Company celebrated its grand opening Friday in Clarksville.
The shop on Cedar Street includes the Battle Grounds indoor axe-throwing area. The owner says flinging a blade through the air is a way for people to work out their stress and try something new.
"Axe-throwing is something that I don't think a lot of people see themselves doing," owner Jonathan Kane said. "They think that it sounds fun, but then they come in and do it, and they're like ... 'we had the best time doing this.'"
Customers pay by the hour for the axe-throwing stalls. They can also form teams and play against each other with as many as eight using the same stall at one time.
Stonehouse serves coffee roasted by Louisville-based Sunergos.
