LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A new Wawa is opening in the area.
The new location in Scottsburg, Indiana on West McClain Avenue opens Tuesday with a ribbon-cutting at 8:30 a.m.
There will be free T-shirts for the first 100 customers, a free any-size coffee and a hoagie-building competition between first responders.
Wawa is looking to open nearly 100 gas station convenience stores over the next year.
The new Scottsburg location will have 35 employees, and is the second Indiana location. The first opened last May in Clarksville on Veterans Parkway. There are five Kentucky Wawa locations, with three in Louisville.
