LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- No one was injured in a barn fire in Taylorsville early Wednesday morning.
Crews from the Taylorsville-Spencer County Fire Protection District were in the process of responding to a report of a house fire caused by a lightning strike on Houston Court around 4 a.m. when they were diverted to another fire near the 2700 block of Brashears Creek Road, according to a Facebook post. That's near the Spencer County Fairgrounds.
Firefighters arrived on scene to find the barn fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived. Firefighters extinguished the fire and no one was injured.
The house on Houston Court received minor damage, according to the post.
