Norton Commons to open new park this fall

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Norton Commons will have a new hillside gathering place for people to enjoy this fall.

Grove Park will feature play structures, open lawn areas and a covered farmhouse-style porch for gatherings. The park is designed to welcome residents and visitors for a neighborhood connection, according to a news release.

“Grove Park was created with families and connection in mind—a place to slow down, enjoy the setting and landscape, and feel part of the neighborhood,” Sarah Pritts, Marketing Director for Norton Commons, said in a news release.

The park includes Little Hen's House, a play theater and music-themed cottage, an embankment slide and a mix of classic and toddler-friendly swings.
