LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- More than 200 military families are planning their holiday meals a little early with a little help.
Operation Homefront handed out meal kits to families at Fort Knox on Saturday.
The kits included things like mashed potatoes, corn, green beans and items to make dessert, such as pumpkin pie.
Families were given two full grocery bags.
Kids also got a special gift and the chance to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus.
