LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Your dog has a new place to play during your next visit to Oxmoor Center in Louisville.

The shopping center’s 1,500-square-foot dog park was originally a temporary feature, but it’s now staying for good after becoming popular with shoppers and their pets.

It has watering stations, benches and a few features for dogs to explore, including a doghouse and tunnel.

The permanent dog park is part of Oxmoor Center’s effort to make the shopping center more pet-friendly.

The center also recently launched its Dogs Gallery Walk, featuring oversized photos of 32 dogs displayed throughout the mall.

Dogs can also join their owners inside the mall. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome in the common areas.

The dog-friendly additions give shoppers another reason to bring their pets along.
