LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Drivers in Clark County should expect new traffic restrictions as work continues on the U.S. 31 reconstruction project.
A partial closure began Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. 31 and County Road 311 in Sellersburg, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.
The closure will allow crews to fully reconstruct the pavement at the intersection. It's part of the ongoing $14.5 million U.S. 31 improvement project.
Drivers heading north on County Road 311 will still be able to get onto U.S. 31, and left turns from Prather Street onto U.S. 31 will remain open. All other traffic will need to follow the posted detour using State Road 160 onto Interstate 65.

INDOT did not say when the partial intersection closure is expected to end.
The overall U.S. 31 reconstruction project is expected to wrap up by Thanksgiving.
