Peace of the Earth's Refillery opens new location on Bardstown Road

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new store is bringing eco-friendly shopping to the Highlands.

The Refillery held a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday for it's new location on Bardstown Road, near Douglass Boulevard.

It was previously located in the back of it's sister-store, Peace of the Earth which is an eco-friendly gift shop in NuLu.

The Refillery offers ethically-produced body care and household goods.

"The real star is our bulk refill station which allows customers to bring their own container or they can purchase one from us we also have a community donation bin and then they can fill it with a variety of cleaning products, pampering bath products, soaps, shampoos, all kinds of things," owner Leslie Delgado said.

It's mission is to promote sustainability and reduce the use of single-use plastics.
