LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A new dog splash park and expanded pet resort opened Monday in east Louisville, just in time for the warmer temperatures.
The Pet Station Country Club opened its third and largest location at 14310 Old Henry Rd., near the Gene Snyder Freeway — celebrating the company's ninth anniversary. The 25,000 square-foot pet resort specializes in pet boarding, training, daycare and grooming.
The resort's main attraction is its outdoor dog splash park, featuring interactive elements like jets, fountains and misting stations designed for safe play.
The facility also offers three outdoor turf areas and a half-mile walking trail for the dogs to enjoy, along with a 3,500 square-foot indoor dog park with agility equipment and K9Grass designed for canine comfort.
Along with playtime activities, The Pet Station Country club also provides training programs led by certified trainers and behavioral specialists. Grooming services are also available.
The company first opened in 2017 on Murphy Lane and added a second location in Lyndon in 2021.
Tours of the new facility are available following the opening.
