LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Nashville Police report says former Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas was speeding and had alcohol and Valium in his system when he died in September.

The final report, released today, says Bironas' blood alcohol level was .218. According to the report, "The level of [Valium] was less than the therapeutic level for the drug as listed on the Winek Toxicology Data Table (2001)."

Police said Bironas drove his SUV at 73 miles an hour in a 35 zone, just before it ran off a road and crashed into a tree.

The medical examiner found that Bironas died of blunt force trauma.

The 36-year-old was a Louisville native and Trinity High School graduate.
