LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky students have a chance to take part in a statewide contest for the best "I Voted" sticker design.
This is the second time in two years that Secretary of State Michael Adams is sponsoring the contest, according to a news release Tuesday. It's open to all Kentucky students from kindergarten to twelfth grade.
The winning sticker design will be given to voters in participating counties during the 2026 primary election.
"We saw great participation and creativity in our inaugural sticker contest last year," Adams said in a written statement. "I am excited to see what Kentucky students will come up with this year."
Students can submit designs HERE.
Entries must be received by 5 p.m. EST May 23, 2025. Make sure to include the student's name, school, address and phone number with the submission.
To be considered, pictures must be original work and include the words "I Voted." Entries should be uploaded using a JPEG or PNG format.
The finalists will be chosen by the Secretary of State’s Office to goKentucky State Fair.
The top vote getter's design will be printed on stickers and sent to interested county clerks on a ballot which will be voted on during the 2025 to provide to voters in May 2026.
Last year's winner was middle school student Lillian Bonczkiewicz from Carlisle County.
