LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A person is in custody after an explosion caused a house fire Sunday morning in Lexington.
According to the Lexington Police Department, fire crews responded to a house fire around 7:45 a.m. in the 700 block of Orlean Circle.
Police said one person was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Lexington Police Department’s Hazardous Devices Unit, Lexington Fire Department arson investigators, the FBI and the ATF are investigating the cause of the fire.
In an update, ATF Louisville said a person is in custody and a special agent bomb technician was called to the scene.
ATF Lexington Agents, including a Special Agent Bomb Technician (SABT) are on scene of a home explosion. There is no current threat to the community and there is a suspect in custody. This investigation is ongoing. pic.twitter.com/Mp3BeKU5Kx
