LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some local residents aren't afraid to get their hands dirty to help out their community.
Mayor Greg Fischer and Brightside held a community wide clean up on Saturday.
Residents in Louisville helped clean up the streets by picking up trash and raking leaves.
The event took place at 15th and Broadway and at Lincoln Performing Arts School.
Louisville Metro Solid Waste Management picked up all the trash bags after the cleanup the was complete.
