LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The intersection of River Road and Zorn Avenue is shutting down this week for construction, with detours in place for the next five to seven days.

The work is part of the ongoing River Road Project, which will continue through 2025 and into 2026. Officials hope to complete most of the construction along River Road by next summer.

Signage is in place to guide local access to homes, businesses, and marinas along River Road during construction, according to Louisville Water.

Drivers are advised to plan for delays.
