LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A roundtable hosted Wednesday aimed at supporting and uplifting Kentuckians with disabilities.
The meeting was put on by Congressman Morgan McGarvey and U.S. Labor Department Assistant Secretary Taryn Williams.
They met with disability advocates, small business owners, and employees to discuss ways the federal government can better serve the disability community.
"It's important to us that we have the opportunity to hear the stories and the lived experience of people with disabilities," said Williams.
The roundtable was held at the Mazzoli Federal Building in Louisville.
