LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The murder of a Shelbyville veteran remains unsolved five years after the heinous crime.
Today marks the fifth anniversary of Jim Duckett's murder.
Duckett was found dead inside his Shelbyville home on November 9, 2008. He was bound to a chair, his throat slit.
His sister, Katherine Nichols, told WDRB News this week that Kentucky State Police have interviewed persons of interest but no arrests have been made.
She believes the killers have long since left the Shelby County area. She says whoever did this must've known her brother.
Nichols says the suspects stole a personal item of Jim's as a trophy of sorts. Anyone with information is asked to call Kentucky State Police.
