LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in southern Indiana are investigating after a person was hit by a train Monday night.
It happened at 8:22 p.m. on the railroad tracks between Sodrel Drive and the 200 block of National Avenue, Jeffersonville police said in a Facebook post. That's off Spring Street and West Eastern Boulevard.
Police said the scene is active and ongoing, and are asking the public to avoid the area.
No information about the victim was immediately available.
