LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 29-year-old man died in a crash Monday morning on Interstate 65 near the Hardin/Bullitt county line.
Kentucky State Police said the crash happened near the 103-mile marker in the northbound lanes at 9:46 a.m.
According to police, after traffic slowed due to a previous crash, a vehicle driven by Drew Cookenmaster of Hodgenville rear-ended a tractor-trailer.
Cookenmaster died at the scene and the driver of the tractor-trailer wasn't injured.
The northbound lanes of I-65 at the Joe Prather exit were closed for three hours while crews reconstructed the crash.
