LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Â A local restaurant is hoping a famous face will turn things around.
Camera crews, lights, and construction were all happening in front of the Coach Lamp Restaurant and Pub on Vine Street in the lower Highlands.
The famous face was Robert Irvine of Restaurant Impossible. He's in town the next two days in the hopes of turning the restaurant around.
The Food Network show was reportedly under the impression that location was behind sour sales --but people nearby say not so fast.
Sal Rubino, owner of The Cafe, said, "They apparently were told that maybe this area was a bad location and obviously with the crowds that we draw here, location isn't the problem."
The show is still looking for volunteers to help with the Coach Lamp's renovation on Wednesday, August 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
To volunteer, email Nick Smalarz at nick@shootersinc.com
