LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Someone drove an ATV of some sort over the 7th green at Sun Valley Golf Course.

The course is on Bethany Lane just off Dixie Highway in south Louisville. Sun Valley Course management said it will take a lot of time and effort to fix the damage, and it could costs thousands of dollars.

The course is already short on crews to help fix the green.

"We already run kind of like short crew here, so to fix this it will take us away from normal golf course duties, and its gonna take a lot of labor and time to replace this," James Blair with Sun Valley Golf Course said.

Back in 2020, a similar vandalism happened after a vehicle was stolen from someone who plays at the course frequently and was used to make tire tracks on the course.

Blair said a police report has been filed, but they don't know who is responsible.

He's asking for any tips on who may have done this.
