LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some residents of Louisville's Taylor Berry neighborhood are upset after realizing South Central Park was re-named to Taylor Berry Park.
The park, on Colorado Avenue just west of Algonquin Parkway, was recently given the name change. But earlier this week, somebody vandalized the new sign with red letters showing the old name.
The sign was cleaned up by Tuesday, but you can still see the slight line of red paint on the side. One man at the park Tuesday said the kids in the area feel slighted by the name change.
"They grew up here so they feel like why change the name when it was already invented, you know what I'm saying?" Joshua Stroud said.
Stroud said this isn't the first time the sign has been vandalized with the old name.
