LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A teenager died after being shot in the Taylor Berry neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a shooting in the 1400 block of Thornberry Avenue, near Taylor Boulevard, around 4:50 p.m. Police found a male teenager with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with life-threatening injuries, and died there a short time later.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting and detectives are canvassing the area. There aren't any known suspects.
