JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WDRB) — Jeffersonville residents in the Thunder Over Louisville event area can now pick up guest parking passes ahead of the annual event.

The Jeffersonville Police Department announced this weekend that residents or property owners within the event area can pick up their guest passes at the Jeffersonville Police Station starting Monday, March 23.

The passes are for guests only and allow them to enter the neighborhood through a police checkpoint. Residents do not need a pass but must present a valid photo ID and proof of residency or ownership to access the area.

Officials say all vehicles must be parked on private property, and each guest vehicle must have a designated parking space.

Passes can be picked up in the front lobby of the Jeffersonville Police Station, located at 2218 E. 10th Street, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Residents are asked to bring a photo ID and proof of residency when picking them up.

The last day for pass pickup is Friday, April 17.

The Jeffersonville Police Department said it will continue to share updates as the event approaches.
