LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Trees honoring some of Louisville's immigrant communities are now on display at Metro Hall.

Mayor Craig Greenberg's office asked several groups to design and decorate large Christmas trees this year.

The trees highlight the traditions of several cultures, representing Louisville's Ukrainian, Hispanic and Latino communities and more.

The groups said it was a great opportunity to learn more about one another.

"I believe diversity is a very important part of why I love Louisville so much and having projects like this allows folks to connect, to learn more about our different cultures," Ukrainian immigrant Yuliya Roberts said.

You can check out the trees on display in the Metro Hall Rotunda.
