LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A heavily-traveled interstate ramp downtown was temporarily shut down on Tuesday morning because of a stuck semi truck.Â
Louisville emergency officials sent a LENSAlert traffic advisory just after 11:30 a.m. about the ramp from Roy Wilkins Avenue to Interstate 64 East. That's when a truck carrying an oversized load got stuck in the sharp curve.
TRIMARC cameras showed what looked like a mobile home or partial construction sitting on the ramp above the parking lot behind the Frazier History Museum.Â
The ramp is well known to downtown commuters who use the elevated ramp that requires quick acceleration to get into fast-moving I-64 traffic.Â
Officials did not provide a timeline on when the ramp would reopen. Â
