LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) --Ā Officials at Purdue University have approved a tuition freeze and lower costs for students on its main campus.

In addition to the tuition freeze, costs will be cut for meal plans and cooperative education and internship programs for all students in West Lafayette.

Tuition and fees for resident students on the campus will be about $10,000 each of the next two school years.Ā  The fee cuts will affect more than 10,000 students.

But at Purdue's three regional campus, a two percent tuition and fee increase was approved for each of the next two years.
