UFC Fight Night 161 to be held this summer at KFC Yum! Center in downtown Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- UFC Fight Night will return to the KFC Yum! Center in downtown Louisville for the second time in history.

The UFC announced Fight Night 161 will come to Louisville on Saturday, June 8. In a news release Thursday, KFC Yum! Center officials said tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 26.

"Thanks to the generous support of Louisville Tourism and the Louisville Sports Commission, we are honored to welcome UFC back to Louisville and to host such a prestigious event at the KFC Yum! Center," ASM Global General Manager Eric Granger said in a news release. "Our venue is known for delivering unforgettable live entertainment experiences, and we can’t wait to host an action-packed night of world-class MMA action."

The prelims will be streamed on ESPN+ starting at 5 p.m. with the main card starting at 8 p.m.
