LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Authorities have released the name of a man who died Tuesday after a crash involving a motorcycle and a truck.

The victim was 29-year-old Jonathan Lee Martin, of Jeffersonville, according to Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Scott Russ. Officials say the cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma.

Martin was taken to U of L Hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to Louisville Metro Police, the crash happened near the intersection of New Cut Road and Kenwood Drive in front of Iroquois Park, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the crash involved a pickup truck pulling a trailer and a motorcycle with two riders.

"Officers are still investigating how the collision occurred, which resulted in both riders, a male and a female, being thrown from the bike," a news release states. "Neither was wearing a helmet, and both were transported to University Hospital where the male was later pronounced deceased."

Police say the woman remains in serious condition.

The driver of the pickup, who stayed at the scene, was not injured, according to police.
