Veterans Parkway in Jeffersonville reopens after downed wires cleared from roadway

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A major road in Jeffersonville was closed for several hours Monday morning due to downed wires.

Jeffersonville Police Department posted on Facebook that Veterans Parkway, east of Woehrle Road, was closed early Monday.

An updated post indicated that the road reopened around noon.

Traffic for Pike Elementary School and River Valley Middle School had to use Holmans Lane to get to the schools.
