UNION TOWNSHIP, Ind. (WDRB) -- A person was rescued after moving flood water washed their car off the road Sunday morning.
In a social media post, Tri-Township Fire & Rescue said the water rescue happened just after 6 a.m. in the area of Hansberry Road and Charlestown-Memphis Road.
A firefighter went into the water to rescue the victim from their car. That person was then taken to a local hospital for an evaluation. No crews are still at the scene.
The post thanked Clark County 911 and the Clark County Sherriff for assisting with the rescue.
