LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police in southern Indiana took some dangerous drugs packaged as candy off the street after a traffic stop.

The Floyd County Sheriff's Office said during a recent routine traffic stop, deputies found a loaded handgun, marijuana and fentanyl, the department said in a social media post Sunday.

The fentanyl was disguised as multi-colored tables in candy-style packaging labeled "Bazooka Bubble Gum." The sheriff's department said disguised, dangerous drugs like this are a becoming more of a problem, especially among young people.

"We encourage parents and guardians to have open conversations with teenagers and young adults about the dangers of drugs like these and the very real risks associated with fentanyl," the Floyd County Sheriff's Office said.
