LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) --  Louisville Metro Police have made an arrest after two deadly shootings in west Louisville. Police say in the middle of a double homicide investigation in west Louisville, Cheetara Goldsmith pulled out a gun and shot and killed another woman.
Last Thursday afternoon on 32nd Street in west Louisville, dozens of police, neighbors, and members of the media were on the scene when police say Goldsmith and 24-year-old Makeba Lee started arguing. Police say Goldsmith pulled out a gun and shot Lee to death.Â
It all started after four other men were involved in a shootout earlier that day. 22-year-old Craig Blande, Jr. and 24-year-old Tyson Mimms were both pronounced dead at the scene and on Monday, police were asking the public to help solve the case.

LMPD Chief Steve Conrad explained, "We know that there were people out at the scene who saw the altercation before the shooting. We know that were people out there who saw what occurred during the shooting. For all we know, there may even be other people who were involved in the incident. At this point we don't know everything."

Funeral services were held Monday for Makeba Lee. Dozens, perhaps hundreds, of people gathered at Portland Memorial Baptist Church for the service.
Meanwhile, Cheetara Goldsmith, who was shot by Metro Police, is still in the hospital recovering from her injuries.
