LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman was hit by a vehicle Thursday morning in the Deer Park neighborhood.
LMPD's 5th Division received a report of a pedestrian hit at Norris Place and Eastern Parkway around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
Officials located a woman who was attempting to cross the crosswalk when she was hit by the vehicle. She was alert and conscious and was transported to UofL Hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.
LMPD's 5th Division is handling the investigation.
