LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- French Lick Resort posted a video on Facebook this week showing the progress inside the historic Billiard & Bowling Pavilion.

The pavilion, on the grounds of the West Baden Springs Hotel, is set to have six bowling lanes as well, along with billiards tables.

There will also be a pizzeria.

The building opened on Christmas Day 1917, but after the hotel closed in the early 1930s, much of the wooden bowling alley warped. It was replaced by concrete by the Jesuits who inhabited the hotel for a time in the mid-20th century, and the Northwood Institute used it as student center during its ownership of West Baden.

Officials said they tried to restore the building to how it was originally, but the original shooting range was replaced with bathrooms.

The Billiard and Bowling Pavilion is set to open in November, just in time for the holiday season.
