The African American Initiative's Criminal Justice Summit 2021 was held Monday, March 8, 2021 over Zoom. Panelists included Louisville Metro Police Chief Erika Shields, Metro Council President David James, Ryan Nichols, president of River City FOP Lodge 614, and Dr. Cherie Dawson-Edwards, an associate professor for the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Louisville.
