Sometimes, I feel like I'm always picking on people. That doesn't mean it's unjustified though.

Take the NuLu Streetscape and Main Remade projects, a $17 million investment designed to prioritize safety and "economic vitality" by slowing down cars and giving more space to people on foot or bikes. What they came up with is a series of curbs that separate the bike lane from the car lane.

So many cars have hit these concrete curbs that someone decided they had to put hazard cones up so drivers can see it. If you do see it in time to save your rims, you might have to swerve into the lane next to you.

The vision might have looked good through the bottom of a cocktail glass, which is the only logical explanation for this safety hazard. But the question now is: Will they fix it?

Here's what our viewers had to say:

"I have to say, I agree with you 100% on this one. It's just totally arrogant that they did this without any kind of planning to make them really visible. They really need to do something to mitigate the danger they've created."

"I think instead of using concrete to separate the cars and the bikes, they should just paint that area yellow. That way it gives a little leeway for the cars and the bikes to separate themselves."

"Are the same people going to do the bike lanes be involved with the Belvedere? My goodness. Can you imagine what kind of a mess the Belvedere will be in?"

"I am an urban planner, and graduated from the Masters of Urban Planning at UofL. I have been screaming that at the top of my lungs for 10 years now. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for saying that."
