Employees of both companies started striking around 6 a.m. Monday.
Workers say they have the support of customers who plan to join the boycott.Â
Under the new agreement, workers can't be fired on an inconsistent or unfair basis. Hourly wages will be raised from $8.25 to $10 an hour.
