Currently there are just 69 people living at the public housing complex just off I-64 in New Albany but that number has gone down since an electrical fire in 2018.
Originally, the tower was set to be destroyed late this year.Ā
Instead of imploding the building, crews will bring it down floor by floor using excavators and cranes.Ā
