The trial date for the man charged with murdering a Louisville Metro Police detective in a fiery Christmas Eve crash has been pushed back nearly three months.Â
Roger Burdette's trial was supposed to start in July but was delayed to make sure witnesses on both sides could testify.
The former MSD truck driver was convicted of murder Tuesday night for the death of Det. Deidre Mengedoht.Â
