The justice's husband Jesse Barrett said the South Bend home is "kind of a part of us."

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is on the campaign trail after getting Amy Coney Barrett confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The letter called on senators to immediately hold a hearing and to confirm the judge to the nation’s highest court.

Barrett's confirmation hearing will begin Oct. 12.
